Scolari has wasted no time making his mark at Chelsea since officially taking up the reins this month, drafting in Deco from Barcelona and shipping out Steve Sidwell to Aston Villa during first 10 days in charge alone.
Many more changes are expected as the Brazilian, who has expressed his intent to promote the club’s youth prospects, begins to fully assert his authority over the playing squad.
The former Portugal coach has made just as big a splash outside Stamford Bridge, having charmed press and public alike with his linguistic skills and charisma, but Terry has suggested that the Chelsea players have already experienced at least a little bit of Scolari's notorious temper.
"I wouldn't like to cross him. He has definitely got that attitude," Terry told Sky Sports News.
"He certainly has the respect of all of us. He has a good sense of humour, but there is the other side to him as well, believe me."
"The boss is a great football man," he added. "His record speaks for itself and he is a very nice man with it. He understands players.
"He has been there, played and managed some great players."
